We have some good quality heads available on our ground but by its nature trophy stalking is limited so it is important to book early. Many of our guests have booked the same weeks for many years to try for a trophy head.

Our best trophy heads for Roe Bucks is in the South Ayrshire area and that is where we concentrate out efforts for this type of stalking from mid May, our best chance for red stags is around Perth with optimum period from early September.

When trophy stalking we will always give the opportunity to shoot any suitable deer, in season, as part of our overall management and cull plan, but the final decision to take the shot will in these circumstances rest with the guest.

Syndicate Membership

For the more experienced stalker and for those rifles who have shot with us before and demonstrated their safety and competence, there are occasionally vacancies for assistant stalkers or the option to join a small team of syndicate rifles who have access to and responsibility for the stalking and deer control over a designated area.

Control of deer on these areas follows a strict cull and deer management plan. The price is dependant upon the area of land involved and the number of deer to be shot during that year. This is an annual payment and any deer shot belong to the rifle. Access is available all year round.
