South Ayrshire Stalking is a family business located close to Girvan in South Ayrshire, in the heart of some of the finest scenery in Scotland, we have access to several thousand acres of mixed forestry, open hill and woodland edge. We are able to offer our guests the opportunity to experience stalking over a variety of terrain with a good head of deer, primarily Roe but we do have some woodland Red and Sika deer, the Red deer  in the South West are renowned for their size and are considerably larger than the open hill deer.

We also have access to some stalking in Central Scotland, close to Perth and this is particularly good for Red Deer. We are able to offer our Stalkers individually tailored packages and also run a beginners course for people who want to try stalking for the first time with the option of taking up the sport. We also provide training in preparation for the DSC Level One and Two and our stalker is an accredited witness. We also have some rough shooting and duck flighting available.

We are also able to offer mixed sporting packages including: Goose Shooting, Rough Shooting, Driven Game and Duck Flighting.

We provide accommodation in our home, a renovated barn and cobbler’s cottage dating back to around 1750, set in grounds of around 6 acres. Accommodation can be either self catering in a fully equipped annex or bed and breakfast with private bathroom. We have a railway station at Girvan with regular services to Glasgow and Prestwick airport located about 25 miles by road.

For the non stalking guest there is much of interest including golf, fishing, local beaches, walking, bird watching and a good variety of shops at Ayr along with a good number of local pubs and restaurants.
