South Ayrshire Stalking offers a very popular introduction to Stalking course which caters for the total novice who wants to try stalking for the first time, through to the beginner or inexperienced stalker who requires some preparation for either the DSC Level 1 or 2. Again we will tailor these courses to an individual's requirements and needs.

We are able to provide full training one to one, before taking the candidate into field conditions where he or she can experience the thrill of stalking first hand, with a professional stalker explaining and demonstrating field craft.

Suggested two day itinerary

Day 1

Pm 1300 Arrival, unpack and lunch 1400 Firearms safety and clothing, equipment discussion. 1500 Introduction to Rifle shooting, range and zero/target practise. PM Into the field to explain field craft, stalking techniques and observe deer in natural surroundings.

Day 2

Am- Morning accompanied stalk with Rifle Pm- Evening stalk introduction to using a High Seat with Rifle ( If successful the gralloch and larder butchering techniques will be demonstrated, or if not fully explained and video shown)

Day 3

Breakfast and depart

The package price will vary dependant upon an individual clients requirements, but a guide for the above would be around £300
